ADGA Purebred Nubians
When establishing the foundation for our herd, we selected clean does from show and performance barns across the country. We focused on characteristics such as wide hips, a deep-bodied chest, a straight back, a Roman nose, an elegant neck, and loving personalities. Our goal is to test our milk production and breeding choices using the ADGA Plus performance programs, which include Dairy Herd Improvement Records (DHIR) and Linear Appraisal (LA).
In the long term, we aim to improve the breed by achieving herd continuity and breeding to enhance parasite resistance. We strive to breed dual purpose does with a friendly disposition, correctness suitable for the show ring, optimal udder placement, and essential qualities any dairy farm would be proud to have.
