Does & Planned Kiddings

A little about out Herd

When establishing the foundation for our herd, we selected clean does from show and performance barns across the country. We focused on characteristics such as wide hips, a deep-bodied chest, a straight back, a Roman nose, an elegant neck, and loving personalities.  Any Champion or Grand Champion bloodline was a nice perk, but we were looking for that specific something over ribbons.

From Black Mesa, Pruitville, Goddard and Goldthwaite to Wingwood, Lakeshore J&M Hideaway and Risin/Split Creek, we offer a variety of beautiful bloodlines to suit every preference. We aim to improve our herd, focusing on friendly dispositions, correctness suitable for the show ring, continuity, optimal mammary systems, and, of course, hardy parasite resistance.

In the long term, once goals have been established, we will be moving forward to obtain show legs for our show line as well as testing each individual doe on butterfat content and Alpha S1 Casein and rotating our breeding line for optimal milk production.
